“The concept of the hotel is based heavily on the spirit of Ostrów Tumski - so palpable when you stroll the area’s paved streets in the discreet glow of gas lamps, enjoy the majestic architecture of the cathedral and admire the play of light on the Gothic details of Ostrów’s churches. You can also feel it while resting in the shade of the expansive plane tree that stands in the centre of the Cathedral Square. The hotel continues the tradition of old-time builders, adding another exciting chapter to the history of the oldest part of the city".
Michał Goncerzewicz, Architect and Designer of The Bridge Hotel
The hotel fits perfectly into the layout and atmosphere of the Cathedral Square. Its contemporary architecture is inspired largely by old-time craftsmanship, as evidenced by the building's facade made of traditionally fired brick - a material that has created the Gothic identity of this part of the city. The hotel's garden features the Eye of Time - an astronomical clock indicating the seasons of the year. Its shape reflects the course of a former tributary of the Oder River.
