Stylish interior

The hotel’s interior is inspired by the historic and cultural heritage of Wrocław. The references to the omnipresent history have been translated here into the sensitivity of contemporary architecture. Natural materials such as stone, concrete, steel, glass and wood, combined with intricate accents, make for an industrial, yet warm climate. All rooms feature wax candles placed on canopy-like frames suspended above the beds, which adds a nice touch to the stylish décor. The roof terrace offers a unique view of the boulevards on the Oder river, while the sound of rushing water can be heard on the very entrance to the hotel. This is because the foyer features a unique water wall inspired by the river and a historic bridge that stood exactly where The Bridge hotel is situated today.

Art and history in the hotel

Guests are welcomed in their rooms by images of historical figures that contributed to the development of the city in between the 17th and 19th centuries, including distinguished city stewards, aristocrats, writers, merchants and townsmen. Those original murals were created in close collaboration with the National Museum in Wrocław. Other artistic drawings are also present in meeting rooms and the foyer. Overall, a stay in The Bridge is a truly refreshing and memorable experience.

Unique location

The Bridge has written another exciting chapter in the rich history of Ostrów Tumski, the oldest district of Wrocław. The hotel has filled the space adjoining the 1000-year-old cathedral and the Collegium Georgianum theological seminary, becoming an integral part of the neighbourhood. The design of the building is inspired by the area’s distinct Gothic style, at the same time leaving no doubt that it was built in recent times. In line with its name, the hotel aspires to be a bridge linking people and ideas, as well as opening up to the city and its residents. Taking a stroll through the hotel garden, you can easily reach the Oder embankment.

Especially when the participants can feast their eyes with the dazzling views from the hotel’s roof terrace overlooking the cathedral and the boulevards on the Oder river. The hotel’s largest ballroom can accommodate up to 400 guests and features spectacular floor-to-ceiling windows that open up to the garden. It is a perfect place for a wedding reception, concert, or business gala.

Eco-conscious hotel

The Bridge is a living proof that a hotel can successfully combine respect for history with eco-friendly practices, as evidenced by Gold LEED certification. The building offers its guests access to plenty of sunlight, using advanced energy-saving solutions, for example in lighting installations. Other eco-friendly solutions include an efficient ventilation system providing clean air to the building, state-of-the-art equipment aimed at significant reduction of water consumption, as well as a rainwater harvesting system used for watering hotel plants. It is also remarkable worth noting that all waste produced during the construction of the hotel was fully recycled. Also, some elements of the building are made of recycled materials.

Pet-friendly hotel

Pets are welcome in all areas of the hotel, apart from the Spa Relaxation area. We will prepare special dog/cat amenities upon arrival (mat, drinking bowl, small culinary treat). Pets need to be kept on a leash at all times, including the garden and restaurant. Regardless of the size of the dog/cat, there is a charge of PLN 100 per pet/stay.
